Rare Beauty is a brand that not only keeps it real but also stands for real. Founded by actress Selena Gomez, the brand delivers not only superb products but also a powerful story. Selena has openly shared her struggles with a debilitating disease that makes everyday tasks more difficult. With her own challenges in mind, she recognized she wasn’t the only one facing physical limitations. That’s why she made accessibility a priority in one of her latest products: Rare Beauty Perfume.

In an interview with the Gloss Angeles Podcast, she explained the design process behind the bottle. It was created with a wide, flat top on the sprayer; unlike the small, thin spritzers commonly found on perfume bottles. This thoughtful design puts consumers at the forefront, especially those who struggle with hand mobility due to conditions like carpal tunnel or arthritis.

Rare Beauty uses integrated marketing to remind its audience that they are seen. Even without a full-scale campaign, the brand found a meaningful way to connect, making it feel more human, all by sharing real stories like Selena’s. Rare Beauty reminds the world that true inclusivity is always fetch.
